HISTORY and FOUNDER

After Graduation from Howard University, Our Founder and CEO Romahn Hemingway started his career with IBM. Romahn spent ten years with the software giant understanding processes, procedures, programming, software testing and distribution, technical architecture, network engineering and project management. While at IBM, Romahn also became certified as a project manager for internal and external accounts as well as receiving a PMP certification from the Project Management Institute. Romahn continued his career with Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) in their Large Program Management consulting practice working as a Senior Director and Partner implementing the company’s largest and most complex programs.

During this timeframe Romahn worked with several major corporations, hospitals, and government entities while developing very strong consulting advisors. Romahn frequently discussed strategic direction, policies and mandates with several “C” level executives, peers, consultants and various industry experts. In all of the discussion, there was always a need to address mission critical, high-risk programs and projects with very aggressive deadlines. In 2006, Romahn started Critical Project Solutions, Inc. to address this need.
